Q: How quickly can car insurance coverage start?

A: Car insurance coverage can often start the same day, depending on your situation.

Q: What are the insurance requirements on a leased car?

A: Leased vehicles typically require more coverage than the state minimums. In addition to liability insurance, leasing companies usually require comprehensive and collision coverage, and you may need to list the leasing company on your policy as an additional insured or loss payee.

A: Homeowners insurance requirements may vary by your state and situation. If you have home financing, your lender will likely require coverage, and many homeowners choose it for added protection.

Q: What kinds of things does renters insurance protect?

A: Renters insurance can help protect the things you've worked hard for, like your furniture, clothing, and electronics. It may also help with liability if someone is injured in your home, and even assist with temporary living expenses if you have to move out due to a covered loss.

Q: How does a life insurance policy actually function?

A: Life insurance provides a payout to your chosen beneficiaries if you pass away while the policy is active. It can help give your loved ones financial support when they may need it most.
